where the sidewalk ends

Ok I know it's a little crazy but I bought a jogging stroller last weekend. In the past whenever I would see someone running and pushing one of these I thought they were a little insane. But I guess motherhood does crazy things to you, because I got one and I love it! At first I was a little unsure if I would have to wait several months before Audrie would be old enough but I researched and saw that babies over 2-3 months of age would be fine in a jogging stroller. It has a cushioned head snuggler thingy and straps like a carseat, so she is snug as a bug and smiles and coos while I'm running, dripping with sweat. I watch her closely and she hardly moves at all in there. Our neighborhood is perfect for jogging (has some great hills for power walking, too) but my favorite spot is where the sidewalk comes to end and every time I get there I naturally think of the Shel Silverstein poems. So of course I had to take a picture...

We've been several times now and Audrie absolutely loves going for jogs in the new stroller!

Here we are getting ready to go for a run... of course she has to have her little jogging track suit on!

And check out her "running" shoes! (a baby present from my friend Leigh)

One of my neighbors said its pretty funny to see my curly hair come bouncing down the street. But Audrie and I love our jogs around the sidewalks so hopefully I'll keep it up.
