I got to experience my first Bunco Night yesterday! I've always heard about this game from different groups of friends, but had never played before. Basically it's just an excuse for a bunch of girls to get together and eat and talk for a few hours- they just add a dice game in there to make it more legit. It really was a great time though!
I went with my neighbor Becca and it was super fun! It's amazing how even though I only knew a few of the girls there- we all gabbed for hours like we'd known each other for years.
You do have to try to keep score while you're playing, which can be tough when you're deep into a good story and trying to count dice at the same time. That's why I made Becca keep score for me!
At the end of the night I even won a prize! Whoo hoo! 
My friend, Melanie, was telling me today how her grandma still plays dominoes every Friday evening with her group of girl friends. I told Mel that it's going to be fun someday being an old lady with her... playing Bunco in the nursing home together!
