I am having a blast hearing all the amazing choirs perform and attending inspiring workshops that make me want to change the world one choir kiddo at a time!
But Mel is in big trouble when I get back! Ok, really, if you haven't heard already... she had quite an exciting "movie scene" this morning during her second period class. I'll let her give you all the fun details but from what she told me it was one of those instances that really only happens to pregnant women in the movies! (And a little more irony... is that today, 6 years ago, is the day that I helped bring my niece, Emma, into the world... on Nathan and Kim's bathroom floor.) I really am SO sad that I'm not there for Mel today, but I can't wait to hold baby Brett! And Jamie is a single dad this weekend with Audrie and I MISS them terribly bad. I have to stop calling to check in because I just cry every time. Despite all this... my convention is actually really awesome. So I just have to focus on why I'm here and not think about how bad I want to get in the car and head for home!Here are some pictures Jamie sent me from his phone telling me to hurry home. I'm so proud of what a great daddy he is... taking care of Audrie for four days on his own!
