We had been planning for awhile to wean Audrie from her pacifier this summer. We got several suggestions from cutting off the tip of the pacificers to having her throw them away herself. We decided she was really too young to understand so we opted with "out of sight, out of mind" and just got rid of them all. We are in day three of Operation No Paci and it's not going well. She's fine all day and even in the car without them, but naptime and bedtime are not fun. Each day gets a little better but several times I've just about gotten in the car to go buy more pacifiers! We're giving it one week before we reconsider and trying again when she's older. Maybe when she's 18?? :)Tuesday, June 09, 2009
