Our little bundle of joy is a half of a year old today! So to celebrate, I took her to get her 6 month shots... poor girl! She did great and only cried for a few seconds, but it still broke my heart. I really thought when they weighed and measured her today that she would have made a big difference since she eats so much these days. But she only gained a few ounces and 1/2 an inch in the past month. But the doctor said Audrie was just perfect. She's just under 16 pounds (15lbs14oz) and 26.5 inches. Her weight is in the 50
th percentile and her height is in the 80
th percentile. Audrie loves that thin protective sheet of paper they stretch out over the doctor's table- she goes nuts kicking at it nonstop. So the doctor commented on what an "active and happy" baby she is. I guess we can get rid of her toys and just give her a roll of paper to play with.
Actually I think she would be just as happy chewing on her fingers all day...
Audrie is sitting up completely on her own now and it makes her look like such a big girl (growing up so fast...)!
