busy week

So I played hooky and skipped school on Monday. It was the best day I've had in a long time! Audrie and I stayed in our pajamas all day and did whatever we wanted to.

I messed around with some settings on my camera and figured out the self timer for our own little photo shoot (in our pajamas!). It was really a fun day with my baby girl.


Tuesday we all went to Nathan and Kim's house for an amazing dinner. And Emma is such a good little babysitter... she played the whole time with Audrie and helped me feed her and even helped give Audrie a bath while we were there! Earlier this week we were visiting my friend, Becca, and she showed me how to put Audrie's hair in a ponytail! I didn't even know it was possible with such a little sprout of hair.. but it was totally adorable.

Jenny and Cole stopped by this week for a visit and Audrie kept trying to hold Cole's hand...!I would love to know what secrets Audrie is telling Cole here...
Last night we had our first BCC concert of the year and it was really wonderful! Audrie was actually really well behaved in the audience even though it was past her bedtime. And even though it's been a busy week, Audrie still had plenty of time for hanging out with her daddy. (Jamie usually does a great job at dressing Audrie... except I think the pants may be a little high here...)

I'm sure she and Jamie have some deep conversations on their strolls around the neighborhood...I try not to be too jealous about all the kisses Audrie gets. I could write for days about the effect that Audrie has had on Jamie's soft heart... but I don't know if I have enough adjectives in my vocabulary to describe what an amazing father he is.
