Audrie's Advice

Back in October Audrie made a video about "How to Draw a Pumpkin" and my mom showed it to her  Senior English students and suddenly an Audrie Fan Club was born. So then Audrie did her "How to Draw a Snowman" for them (and they even mailed in their drawings with sweet poems written on the back for her).

So my mom asked the other day if Audrie would make her students a "final exam" since they are finishing up their senior year...

I helped Audrie make a quiz:

And then I asked her to make a quick video for the students and give them some advice for college...
And oh my goodness, get yourself ready for this... (warning- it's a little PG rated) but hilarious.

Audrie the Shutterbug

One of Audrie's favorite things to do is when I let her use my "real" camera to take photos of whatever she wants. Obviously she has watched me too many times bossing people around for the sake of photography, because as soon as she puts that camera on she turns into bossy photographer extraordinaire!
(Kim, you would be so proud of how Audrie was working us as her little models.)

She told us how to pose and everything... it was too cute!

Audrie said here.... "Ok, I'm going to count to seven and then I want you to give me your scary face!".
Then she would say "ok, this time I'm going to count to 4 and then you look surprised"...

But then she would say something random like "look like a piece of cheese".... and we weren't quite sure how to respond! ha

After she was done I asked her to pose for me for one shot and this is what she did... not sure what modeling choice she was making here... ha!
Oh, and somehow Audrie always manages to accidentally take the best headshots of me. (I actually used another photo she took of me a few months ago for a school brochure.) And here is one she took of me yesterday in her random photo shoot....
Ps- disclaimer... I'm actually bizarrely photogenic and don't look this youthful and glowy in real life, I swear. :)

pure bliss

So the other day I walked past the kitchen and did a double take...

Annie the Marvelous was obviously up to something amazing.

Later that day the girls were playing some made up game that involved throwing their teddy bears into the air and they were having such a blast and giggling so loud that I couldn't resist getting out my camera.
