our year in photos

"No, dear brother and sisters, I am not all I should be, but I am focusing on this one thing: Forgetting what is behind and striving toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:13-14

"The unfailing love of the Lord never ends! By his mercy we have been kept from complete destruction. Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each day. I say to myself, "The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in Him!" Lamentations 3:22-24

"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:31

Happy New Year... have a blessed 2010!!

lip smackin' good

To celebrate my giving up on the "joys" of potty training (a sensitive subject I can't really talk about without using foul language) Audrie and I made cookies. I let her lick the entire remains of the bowl to her hearts content. She was happy! I took pictures...
"More, mommy?"

christmas with the family

We had such a WONDERFUL Christmas this year! Jamie decided that having kids at Christmas is tons more fun (last year Audrie was too little to get into things, but this year was a blast!)

We spent Christmas Eve in Green Forest with Jamie's family.

It's always fun to see how many people we can fit into Donna's house!

I decided to celebrate by eating as many desserts as I could!

Audrie and some of her cousins...

(and their momma's taking their photo!)

Audrie hoping that if she cuddles up to Tucker he'll give her another candy cane...

Audrie really got into the present opening this year, too!

Kameron got her the cutest baby doll and stroller which Audrie LOVED and pushed around all night!

We made it home in the snow storm that night and woke up Christmas morning at our house to the BEST gift ever... finding out the gender of our little baby!

Then we woke up Audrie and let the mayhem begin...

Of all the fun presents Santa got her- I think she liked the $1.00 harmonica in her stocking the best!

Audrie on Christmas morning in her pajamas.

I made some breakfast...

while Jamie helped Audrie play with her toys.

And it was a WHITE Christmas (which was so pretty).

We went to my mom's house later that morning to celebrate with my family.

Audrie helped my mom and dad open their gifts.

Audrie actually started running a fever the night before and wasn't feeling so great.

But she looked awful cute in her Christmas dress!

Stone always plays SO great with Audrie. She likes him a lot.

The magnetic link sticks were a big hit (I guess Nathan is supervising here...?)

Naturally Audrie just wanted to eat them. Candy?

Apparently they should have asked Emma- she had it all figured out!

Ah, the cute Nathan & Kim...

And Audrie trying to get in front of my camera here to get my attention...

"Seriously, MOM, give me a candy cane!!"

"Daddy, mommy won't listen to me..."

Jamie?

Anyways, we really had a great time with our families and waking up at our house with Audrie on Christmas morning! Hope all of you had a truly blessed Christmas, too!

ah, the sweet life

Audrie and I have been enjoying our time together during my break from school... lots of coloring, play doh, walks, naps, visiting friends, just doing whatever we want to. I took her to The Little Gym in Rogers and she had the time of her life running through obstacles, jumping on trampolines, and swinging nonstop like a monkey from the bars! (You can click on this photo to see her great facial expressions.) And who is this grown up little girl?? (She looks so big here swinging in my neighbor's back yard!) I get a little teary eyed when I think about how this is my last break from school when it will be just me and Audrie. For spring break we'll probably take a trip and then by summer break we will have our little baby here!
