tennis galore

I think I've seen enough tennis to get me through for a good while now! We traveled down to Little Rock this weekend to cheer Jamie on in his state tennis championship. Audrie was ready to root for her favorite tennis player... Daddy!!
She was in heaven all weekend because she got to be outside all day (which she LOVES).

She was so much fun this weekend.
Every once in awhile she would take a breather and let me push her in the stroller.
As usual, I am always impressed by Jamie's tennis skills!
Audrie was pretty proud, too. (She pointed him out and said daddy a lot- which the crowd loved.)

We did have to pack a lot of gear for the trip. Audrie carried her fair share here...
Our hotel was in the River Market district so we got to spend some time walking around down there and eating some great food.
And got to swim in the pool (which was a little cool but Audrie didn't care).

The water was refreshing after being outside all day.
She's really getting to be way too much of a daddy's girl.
And she was dying to run on the courts with Jamie.
I think she'd make a great ball girl!
Jamie's tennis league...
Audrie made some new friends there, too.

We shared a sno cone (coconut for you, Emily!).
But Audrie will tell you that the highlight of the trip was... jumping on the bed in the hotel!!
Every time we walked in the hotel room all she wanted to do was jump on the bed. So we let her!

We were at the tennis courts pretty much the whole time, but we did get a chance to see the capitol building.

Jamie played hard.
He made it past three days to the to the semifinals on Sunday morning.
And lost. But 3rd place in the state championships ain't too bad!!!
But this is what Audrie thought of her daddy losing...
Don't cry, pretty girl, there's always next year!
