Thursday was my last offical day of school (though we have all been "done" for a few weeks)! To keep the tradition alive we had the annual faculty vs student basketball game. Here is our studly teacher line up with our game faces on...

The students LOVE witnessing this vicious battle.

It's the one day they can get away with mocking us to our faces!

And I love it because I get to knock students around on the court and take out some of the year's frustrations with a couple good fouls.

Mel took all these photos for us. I surprised she didn't get the shots of me dunking it.

I wore my lucky socks and they must have worked because we beat them badly. I think the final score was like 40-12.

Ok, TURN BACK NOW because it's about to get ugly! I know I'm getting way to old to keep competeting in this yearly game, because this time I twisted my ankle pretty badly. And I apologize that I'm posting these photos... but it's like a car wreck- you just have to look. So here's a photo of my normal left foot...

And here is the current state of my right foot.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The pain was pretty unbearable the day it happened, but surprisingly now it's not as bad as it looks. I can walk fairly normal now and think I may survive. Maybe I should look at these photos as a reminder next year when they ask me to be on the team again! (ok, sorry again for the nasty foot photos!)
