
So Jamie decided this weekend that we were going to start canning. Like, putting vegetables into glass jars so we can eat them in a year. Sounds fun to me. So we started with
pickles.
Here is the recipe he used. He did most of the work, I was just the assistant
canner.

I chopped a few million cucumbers.

He boiled (you have to say it "
bult") up an awesome looking brine that was straight out of Harry Potter.


Stuffed the jars full of all kind of goodness...

And voila! Pickles you all will be getting for Christmas! :)

I think next we're doing
dilly beans. Hang on to your excitement!
