yeehaw

This weekend we took Audrie to the Rodeo of the Ozarks Parade. So of course I had to dress her in her 'country' attire. (I love the look on her face here... like "are you for real, mom?".)
So she wouldn't feel left out- I wore my boots, too! :)
Annie and Jamie didn't have boots, but they were still cute.

We met the Burrow's there and Ben and Audrie gave us a little pre-parade marching.

We also met up with the Searcy Family.
Cole and Jenny (and Lily Kate... can you see her in that tiny belly bump?)
Emily and Ben.
Cole waving his American flag.
Audrie anxiously awaiting the parade to start. (We were at the end of the parade route so it took awhile to finally start seeing the floats.)
But then a cotton candy vendor came by so the kids were happy!
Finally the parade arrived and Audrie was so excited!
There were some really cool floats and tons of horses. I loved seeing all the old cars, too.

I don't think Audrie stopped waving the entire time.
Yay for the marching band!
And the rodeo queen, of course!
Annie was awesome at the parade- just chilled the whole time.
The weather was perfect because it was overcast so not too hot. (I like how the clouds framed this next picture.)
Jamie and his girls.
More old cars. And the rain held off until the very end of the parade so it was perfect timing for us to get home for rainy afternoon naps.
It was a fun morning with our little family.
