Well, Audrie and I survived our first night home without Jamie. (I can't remember the last time he was gone all night... not since Audrie was born.) When we were first married Jamie worked for internal audit and was gone two weeks of the month. So it was sad now how many times I checked the locks last night before I went to bed! I was glad to see him today when he got home. But it was kind of funny because Audrie and I got home this afternoon from hanging out at Kim's house and Audrie was out immediately for a nap. Then Jamie got home and he was so wore out that he crashed on the couch. Then I decided to make some cookies. And I just happened to be wearing a dress. Suddenly I felt very "June Cleaver"ish... husband and baby napping... me baking in the kitchen...! I had to turn on some Madonna on my iPod to help bring me out of the 1950's for a moment.Here are some pictures I took of our baby girl the other day while she was laughing so hard. She's started this new squealing laugh that is pretty hilarious. I swear she has the biggest mouth in the world...!
