Thursday night I took my children's choir (NWA Youth Chorus) to perform the national anthem at a Natural's baseball game. It was opening night of the season for the team, so it was a big event. So much fun!! The kids sang beautifully and behaved so well. I was very proud of them! I didn't bring my camera, but my friend Kate was nice enough to snap a few photos with her phone.
After the anthem I got to go up in the pressbox for an interview on the radio about the Youth Chorus. I was a little nervous but it went great. I didn't sound like too much of an idiot. :)
It was such a fun night! We took Audrie and she LOVED watching the baseball and eating peanuts. I'm taking my school choir in a couple weeks to do this and can't wait!
