Saturday we went to a cookout with some friends to celebrate the Fourth. Here we are decked out in our red, white and blue!
Audrie decided Cole's toy car was built for two. Cole obviously didn't like that idea... (you gotta click on the image to see the close up of his reaction)!

Rhonald grilled up some tasty food! (Jamie must have been using a "grill" app on his iPhone to help out here...)

After dinner we gave the kids a
popsicle and turned them loose.
You know it's a good
popsicle when it's running down your leg...
The boys set off some fireworks in the street.
Audrie couldn't decide what she thought about fireworks.
First she liked them. Then she ran away.
Then as long as her daddy was near she liked them again.
I had to get my yearly sparkler time in.
After the boys set off a few more loud ones- Audrie officially decided she hated fireworks.
It took some extra TLC to calm her down.
Then all was better when we put her in the bath with two cute boys...!
It was a fun night celebrating and hanging out with friends. Hope you all had a great Fourth of July, too!
